Any business can claim a free listing on parloh. A free listing gives you a public profile page that appears in parloh search results. It does not include a QR code, a dashboard, or contact collection. No discount is required for a free listing.
Businesses that configure a discount offer of at least 10% receive access to parloh's free CRM — a live QR code, contact collection, and a working dashboard showing names, stay lengths, departure timing, and tier status.
On the free CRM, contact details (phone numbers and email addresses) remain masked. WhatsApp messages can be sent directly from the dashboard within a monthly allowance that scales with your discount commitment:
The monthly allowance resets on the first of each month. It exists so businesses can experience the product's core value — reaching a tourist before they leave — before committing to a subscription. Upgrading to Starter removes all send limits and unlocks full contact details. No contacts are lost on upgrade.
Businesses offering 20% or more who wish to receive the 10-message monthly allowance must list at least one service price on their public profile. This requirement exists to ensure price transparency for tourists and to prevent the allowance being used to offset artificially inflated pricing. Businesses found inflating prices to offset discounts are subject to removal from the platform.
By subscribing to parloh, you agree to honor the discount issued to any tourist who presents a valid, unredeemed discount code generated through your parloh check-in form.
The minimum discount a business may offer on parloh is 10%. This floor is enforced automatically — the system will not allow a lower value to be configured. If your business is enrolled in the parloh Pass, Pass holders are guaranteed at least the Bronze-tier discount on every visit, regardless of your base setting.
Discount tiers are set by parloh based on your maximum discount. First-time visitors receive half your maximum, regulars receive three quarters, and city locals receive the full amount. You set the ceiling. parloh manages the scale.
Businesses that set a maximum discount of 20% or more qualify for parloh Select. The Select mark appears automatically on your public business profile — it is not purchased or applied for. It is a direct signal to tourists that your offer goes beyond the minimum. If your maximum discount falls below 20%, the Select mark is removed from your profile. There is no penalty and no interruption to your subscription.
You may not inflate prices for tourists who present parloh discount codes. The discount applies to your standard pricing.
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. On cancellation your QR code will deactivate at the end of your billing period. Contact data collected during your subscription remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation, then is deleted.
By checking in at a parloh business, you agree to provide accurate contact information. Discount codes are personal to you — they cannot be shared, transferred, or used by anyone else.
Each code is valid for one use only and expires 48 hours after generation. Attempting to claim multiple discount codes through multiple check-ins within the rate-limit window will result in being temporarily blocked from the platform.
Repeatedly claiming discount codes without redeeming them may result in a permanent ban across all parloh businesses.
The parloh Pass is an annual subscription giving access to guaranteed minimum discounts at participating businesses — at minimum, the Bronze-tier discount for that business. Passes are non-transferable and tied to the email address used at purchase.
Refund policy: full refund within 48 hours of purchase if no businesses have been visited. No refund after first use. Pro-rata refund available for cancellation requests submitted after 30 days with documented cause.
Your parloh tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum — is earned by visiting distinct parloh businesses in any city. The thresholds are: Bronze 1–2 businesses, Silver 3–4, Gold 5 or more. Tier is recomputed on every check-in.
Bronze and Silver status are free and never expire. Gold requires an active parloh Pass and decays to Silver after 12 months of inactivity at any parloh business worldwide. Silver decays to Bronze after 18 months of inactivity. One check-in at any parloh business anywhere resets the clock for another full period. Active Pass holders are exempt from decay for the duration of their subscription.
Platinum status is earned by visiting 200 or more distinct parloh businesses and making 100 or more confirmed referrals, with an active Pass. Platinum is permanent once earned at the lifetime threshold and does not decay. A temporary Platinum status is available to active referrers and decays to Gold after 6 months without qualifying activity.
You may share your referral link with other travellers. When someone you refer visits a parloh business and redeems their first discount code, the referral is confirmed. Confirmed referrals count toward your lifetime referral total and may activate an acceleration window that allows your next visits to count double toward tier progression.
Referral acceleration is subject to limits: a maximum of 10 doubled visits within any 30-day window. Acceleration cannot take your tier above Gold — Gold requires the parloh Pass regardless of referral activity. Referral chains are limited to 2 degrees: if you refer someone who refers someone else, the second referral credit goes to the direct referrer only.
Referrals confirmed through unusual velocity — more than 10 in 24 hours — are placed on hold for review. parloh reserves the right to nullify referrals found to be fraudulent, self-referrals, or generated through automated means.
After redeeming a discount code, you may optionally submit the price you paid. Submitted prices are anonymous — they are used only to compute aggregated market ranges visible on business profiles. No individual submission is ever attributed to you or shared with businesses. Prices are not displayed until at least 5 independent submissions exist for a given service and venue context. Submissions outside 3 times the existing average are held for review before being included in the average.
parloh does not guarantee the accuracy of price benchmarks. Market prices change. Data older than 90 days is marked as potentially outdated; data older than 180 days is removed from display.
If you hold a parloh Pass and also receive a check-in discount code at a business, you receive the higher of the two discounts — not both. The source of the better discount is shown quietly on your success screen. You may not stack a Pass discount with a check-in code to receive a combined discount.
Pass discounts are guaranteed minimums. Participating businesses agree to honour the minimum discount for all valid Pass holders at all times. A business that consistently fails to honour Pass discounts is subject to removal from the Pass network.
By enrolling in the parloh Pass network, you agree to honour the minimum discount percentage for your category to all valid Pass holders at all times, without exception. You may not inflate your standard prices for Pass holders to offset the discount. You may not refuse a Pass holder on the basis of occupancy or time of day without extraordinary cause.
Complaint enforcement is as follows. A first complaint generates a notification to you and no further action. A second complaint within 90 days triggers a manual review. A third complaint, or an unresolved second complaint, results in removal from the Pass directory. You retain your subscription but receive no further Pass traffic. Persistent violations may result in subscription downgrade.
You may self-suspend from the Pass directory temporarily — for closures, renovations, or operational reasons — without losing enrollment. A paused business shows as temporarily unavailable to Pass holders.
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Promo card activations run for the stated duration and revert automatically to the free plan when the window closes — no action required from you. If a payment fails, you receive a 7-day grace period during which all features remain active. After 7 days your dashboard becomes read-only and your QR code deactivates. After 14 days the subscription lapses. Your contacts and history are never deleted — reactivating your payment restores full access immediately.
parloh Pass: full refund within 48 hours of purchase if no parloh businesses have been visited. No refund after the first business visit. Pro-rata refund available upon request for cancellations after 30 days with documented cause — email legal@parloh.app with your purchase receipt and reason.
Business subscriptions: no refunds on monthly charges. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
Promo card activations: no refunds. Promo cards are issued as a field sales tool and are non-refundable once redeemed.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of parloh after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
